Intro

Hi everyone, i made this game for the GMTK Game Jam 2025.

I created a new project because I changed the game's title, this seems fit more. Furthermore, the game has completely changed; the previous version could almost be a prototype.

Update

Compared to the Game Jam version, I've changed a lot. Here's a list of some of the changes:

• Improved spaceship maneuverability;
• Graphic effects;
• Sound effects, including background music;
• Options menu;
• Combo system;
• Health system to make the game easier;
• Coins now not only increase or decrease the radius of the black hole, but also change its shape;
• Skill tree (changes with each game);
• Online leaderboard;

Description

Collapse Dash is a game where you have to survive an anomalous black hole that reduces its radius until it destroys your spaceship. Collect coins that allow you to survive by increasing the radius again and changing the shape of the black hole. To collect them, you need to be quick enough to dash without touching the edges of the black hole.

Controls

- Left mouse button to move;

- Right-click to dash for pick up coins;

- P show the skill tree;

- ESC pauses the game;

Graphics: no visuals assets pack used;

Audio: Free SCI-FI UI Sound Effects Pack by Hove Audio, SFX COLLECTION by omzombie;

Music: by David KBD;

Font: AVA and Y224 by GGBotNet;

Thoughts:

This version will be downloadable only. Since this isn't a Game Jam, I prefer people play the best version possible. I don't think I'll update it unless people play it, especially since I'm working on another project.
